I like to understand how things work—and more importantly, how they can break. That curiosity led me from a background in full-stack development to my true passion: security

My path has led me from updating old codebases to architecting security solutions for modern, large-scale applications. I believe in integrating security into the development process from the start instead of approaching it as an afterthought.

    As a front-end engineer, I learned that performance and user experience were only part of the story. While modernizing our platform, I saw firsthand how security could be overlooked in the rush to ship features. This inspired me to become a security advocate on my team. I started weaving security into our daily practices—from implementing XSS protections during development to introducing automated security tools into our workflow. This experience convinced me that the most effective security starts with developers, a perspective that now defines my entire approach.

  • Full-Stack Engineer

    FDCR | 2019 - 2020

    My full-stack role was a deep dive into the challenges of technical debt. I was responsible for overhauling complex legacy systems built on Laravel, where my main goal was to improve not just the code, but the overall maintainability and performance. This involved untangling outdated functions and optimizing database operations to make the applications more reliable and efficient. It was a foundational experience in understanding how solid architecture directly impacts business stability and reduces long-term maintenance overhead

I have used Go to build high-performance security tools. My main project involved architecting and developing a centralized security dashboard that provided real-time compliance and ownership data by aggregating information from multiple APIs. Go's efficiency and concurrency model were key to the success of this large-scale monitoring tool.
